Microsoft has just recently began rolling out a new build for Windows 11 OS. The new update is available for Insiders in the Dev and Beta channels, and along with the new build, the company has included a number of app updates.
With the new build, the American tech giant has also brings the design of the apps closer to the overall aesthetic of Windows 11. In other words, these updated apps use more rounded corners now as well. The Snipping Tools app is one of the first apps to receive this update, which the company had teased recently (Via XDADevelopers). Notably, the new Snipping Tool also includes some features from the classic Snipping Tool.
Similar to Snipping Tools, the brand even updated the Calculator app on Windows 11. Although, the changes in this app are less noticeable apart from the rounded corners for its buttons. Alongside Calculator, even the Mail and Calendar apps also saw a similar change on Windows 11. Again, the applications now also use rounded corners for most of their UI elements. Microsoft also plans on bringing such updates to other existing apps in its latest version of Windows operating system.
