Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A52s by the end of this month. This smartphone might release first in Europe based on leaks. It may also debut in India as it has received BIS certification. Now, we have yet another confirmation for the latter.
The support page for the yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy A52s with model number SM-A528B/DS has gone live on Samsung India’s website. This clearly suggests that the phone will be launching in the country as hinted by its BIS certification a few weeks back.
According to previous reports, the Galaxy A52s will be near-identical to the Galaxy A52 5G released earlier this year. The only differences will be the chipset and a new color. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G instead of a Snapdragon 750G and will be available in an additional green color other than white, black, and violet.
Talking about common specs, the Galaxy A52s will come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and in-screen fingerprint sensor, 64MP (wide) + 12MP (ultra-wide) + 5MP (macro) + 5MP (depth) quad-camera setup, and a 32MP selfie camera.
Other features include a MicroSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, IP67-rating for dust and water resistance, One UI 3.1 based on Android 11, 4,500mAh battery, and 25W fast charging.
Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy A52s is reported to cost around €449 in Europe. It might be cheaper in India.
