Earlier this month, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Buds 2, successor to the original Galaxy Buds. The earbuds are already up for pre-orders in different markets, and the company has already shipped them out in select countries. Meanwhile, Samsung has rolled out a firmware update adding new features while most consumers are yet to get their hands on the new buds.

Samsung today released a new firmware update in South Korea with version number R177XXU0AUH2. The firmware update brings a bunch of new features. One of the new features is the ability to activate Ambient Sound mode while on a call allowing users to listen to ambient sound even during a call.

After this update, you can use ANC even when you are using just a single earbud. Further, the update adds Ambient Sound customization and double-tap to turn the volume up or down. According to the changelog, the update will also improve the overall stability of Galaxy Buds 2. We could expect this update to roll out in other markets in the coming days.
