OnePlus has just pushed updates for a couple of its smartphones starting from the recent OnePlus Nord 2, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus7T Pro. These updates aren’t the major OS updates, rather, UI upgrades consisting of some fixes and features.
The OnePlus Nord 2 has received the OxygenOS 11.3.A.10 update and it has a size of 245MB. Some users have claimed to have received this update and it brings battery optimization for gaming titles like PUBG. The fix will address the inconsistent battery consumption while playing games. It also packs fixes for the camera app and face unlocking option. Moreover, it has the latest August 2021 security patch.
The entire OnePlus 7 and 7T series lineup has received OxygenOS 11.0.3.1 update and it has also had the August 2021 security patch. The update brings Bitmoji clock wherein users can keep their Bitmoji on the Ambient display. It also caters the NFC stability issues. After the update, users have reported having seen the OnePlus Store app installed on their phones.
Although the phones didn’t receive any major features after the update, having the latest security patch is still a win-win for OnePlus fans.
The OnePlus Nord 2 has a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display. It features a 90Hz screen with FHD+ resolution. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and has 12GB of RAM. It has a 50MP triple rear camera system and boasts a 32MP selfie sensor. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W quick charging support.
