Honor has quietly launched the all-new Honor Play 20 Pro smartphone in the Chinese market. It is an addition to the Play 20 series which already has the vanilla Honor Play 20 smartphone. Some of the highlights of the smartphone are an OLED display, quad cameras, and an Helio G80 chipset.

The Honor Play 20 Pro is priced at CNY 1,699(~$263) for the sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It is currently available only in China and we do not expect it to reach global markets anytime soon. But, the phone may launch in a few Asian regions outside China.

Honor Play 20 Pro Specifications

The Honor Play 20 Pro comes with a 6.53-inch OLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is a dew-drop notch with support for the DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. Upfront, it has a 16MP selfie camera and has a quad-camera system at the rear.

The rear setup starts with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and lastly a 2MP depth unit. The rear camera setup is placed in a squarish model with an LED flash sandwiched between the four lenses.

Under the hood, it fuels the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and has 8GB of RAM. The smartphone has 128GB onboard storage but we are unsure if it has a microSD card for storage expansion. It packs a 3,800mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. Honor claims that it can juice up the entire device in just 65 minutes.
