After multiple speculations, Google has finally revealed the launch date for the new Pixel phones. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will meet us on October 19.

The announcement was made today by the official Made By Google Twitter account. It also includes a link to an interactive page where you can see the new user interface that the phones will bring as well as a FAQ page that answers questions you may have about the event.

Google has revealed that the livestream will not be a live event but a pre-recorded one, and if you miss it, you will be able to watch it whenever you want.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will launch with the first Google custom mobile chip called Tensor. It has been revealed that the Tensor chip is an octa-core processor and it will have an Exynos 5G modem, ultra-wideband support, and Wi-Fi 6E.

The Pixel 6 series will have 120Hz displays with under-display fingerprint scanners and a centered punch hole. The pro model will have three rear cameras while the standard model will have two rear cameras. It has also been reported that the phones will have support for faster charging and Google will announce a new Pixel Stand wireless charger on that day. Both phones will run Android 12 out of the box.

Unconfirmed reports have stated that the Pixel 6 will have a price tag of €649 while the Pixel 6 Pro will cost €899. The same source had reported that the phone will launch on October 19 which has turned out to be true.
