The Google Pixel 6 series is all set to make its debut on October 19 and the latest leaked renders have now given us a deeper insight into them than ever before. They’ve been leaked by none other than Evan Blass and appear to be official promotional images. They give us a glimpse into the series’ fabric case options and the new design of the second-generation Pixel Stand wireless charger.

The fabric cases seemingly have a soft squishy exterior and a hard plastic interior. They will offer protection to the camera bump and sport Google‘s familiar “G” logo.

The new Pixel Stand looks like it has gotten a bump in size, likely due to the overall larger Pixels this year, and has a curved rear frame with a non-circular base. It also seems to incorporate a fan system to boost heat dissipation. The UI that shows up on the phone when it’s placed on the Stand has been updated to show media controls and smart home device controls in a grid. There are also shortcuts to toggle performance mode and quiet mode at the bottom.

Another upgrade over last year’s Stand is in terms of its charging speed with support for up to 23W. Obviously, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro should also be coming with at least 23W wireless charging support. While the speed is no match for most of the Chinese devices with wireless charging support, it does eclipse the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Next up is the star of the upcoming October event – the Pixel 6 series, of course. While we already know all that the devices will be offering, the leaks do drop a couple of new cues about its software – a new Live Space widget with a flight card and the addition of a new Pixel Security app. We also get to see the various new and colorful wallpapers Google has added.

The new promotional images further solidify the fact that the Google Pixel 6 will be settling with a dual shooter system, thus ditching one of the cameras from its Pro variant’s 50 + 12 + 48MP triple camera configuration.
