According to Digital Chat Station, OPPO’s first foldable smartphone will be similar to the Galaxy Z Fold series. In other words, the phone will unfold into a tablet.

This device will sport an inner foldable OLED display that will measure around 7.8-inch to 8-inch. This screen is said to have a resolution of 2K+ pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Further, it will house a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera on the rear and a 32MP front-facing camera. For biometrics, it will use a sid-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Lastly, the tipster says that it will run ColorOS 12 based on Android 11.

Unfortunately, we do not have further information on this device. Although OPPO had revealed its plans to release foldable it did not provide any timeline. However, the company’s first tablet has been confirmed to launch in the first half of 2022.
