According to the same leaker, a new vivo handset called vivo T1x has been listed on JD. Unfortunately, the page does not say anything about the phone, except for its name.

As per him, the vivo T series will succeed the now discontinued vivo Z series. The latest lineup from vivo will be targeted at male youth for whom performance is the top priority.

He also says that the first model (vivo T1x) will be priced around ¥2,000-¥2,500. This means it will be cheaper than the vivo S series, which is targeted at female youth.

With Huawei’s decline, vivo is trying to cater to every audience possible in China. The company is also rumored to spin off iQOO into an independent company as part of its new strategy.

Having said that, we expect to learn more about the vivo T1x in the coming days. This smartphone is expected to go on sale during the upcoming Double Eleven (Singles’ Day) shopping festival in China.
