Xiaomi has today officially launched its new Mijia Refrigerator Cross Four-door Exclusive Edition in its home country. It is now available for purchase in China for a price of 5,499 yuan which roughly converts to $855.
The company says that the Mijia Refrigerator Cross Four-Door Exclusive Edition 550L is the first high-end refrigerator from the brand. It is 690mm deep, 910mm wide, and 1902mm high and comes with a 90-degree wide-angle door opening.
It has 120 million high-energy positive and negative ion groups for active sterilization and comes with an artistic rough ice crystal texture. It has seven independent partitions for storage and a superconducting fast-cooling cooking plate.
There’s a fruit and vegetable storage section with a system to keep them fresh, remove ethylene, and remove viruses with high efficiency and purification to ensure that the food is fresh as before. The virus sterilization rate in 30 minutes is 99.99%, the ethylene removal rate is 86.0%, and the odor decomposition rate is 92.1%.
The product uses a metal back panel with a cold air duct, which is matched with 360-degree surrounding the wind to avoid direct blowing of ingredients and air drying. The health zone adopts antibacterial sealing material to prevent the inactivation of components affected by light and heat, and protect from moisture and aseptic staining.
The Mijia Refrigerator Cross Four-Door Exclusive Edition supports a wide-width variable temperature lock from 5°C to -20°C wide-range temperature adjustment, 26 levels of temperature can be selected to meet the requirements of different ingredients.
Xiaomi has revealed that it supports first-level energy efficiency and the estimated comprehensive power consumption is 0.79 kWh/day, and it runs quietly at 37 decibels. It also comes with support for XiaoAI voice assistant, OTA online upgrades, and many more features. As noted, the product is now on sale in China for 5,499 yuan (~$855).
