Handset maker vivo has quietly launched a new smartphone in China. This device called vivo S10e is the third model in the vivo S10 series, which so far has remained exclusive to the company’s home country. Let’s take a look at what the new phone has to offer.

vivo S10e Specifications and Features

The newly unveiled vivo S10e features a flat frame like the vivo S10 and the vivo S10 Pro. However, the frame appears to be plastic instead of metal. It also has a notch, but a dewdrop one rather than a wide one.

Unlike the original models, the newer device houses a less powerful MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC compared to Dimensity 1100. Also, it arrives with a single 32MP selfie camera as opposed to a 44MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) dual selfie camera on the previous handsets.

Anyway, the vivo S10e has the same rear camera array as the vivo S10. This means it comes with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro shooter.

Further, the smartphone sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels (FHD+), a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Then, it has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. But it neither has a MicroSD card slot nor a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Connectivity options on this phone include dual-SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and NFC. Finally, it runs OriginOS based on Android 11 backed by a 4,4000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
