Meizu POP3 true wireless earbuds with semi in-ear design launched in China

Meizu had teased the arrival of its next-generation true wireless earbuds and today, the Chinese company has officially launched the Meizu POP3 TWS earphones. The earbuds are priced at 229 yuan in China, which roughly converts to $35.

However, during the Double 11 sale in the Chinese market, the Meizu POP3 will be available for purchase at a discounted price of 199 yuan, which is about $31.

The Meizu POP3 TWS earbuds adopt a semi-in-ear design and come with Meizu acoustic heritage. Each earbud weighs just 4.5 grams, making it lightweight and shouldn’t be an issue when worn for a longer duration.

It comes with 13mm dynamic unit drivers and supports Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting the earphones to other devices. The product comes with support for Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for noise reduction and is also IPX5 rated, making it waterproof.

Further, the earphones support touch controls, allowing users to control music playback as well as accept or reject a phone call. It also comes with support for pop-up quick pairing but is limited to devices running the company’s own Flyme OS.

As for the battery life, the Meizu POP3 TWS earphones have a 40mAh battery, allowing users to listen to songs for up to six hours. With the 400mAh battery of the charging case, the music playback time can be increased up to 24 hours.
