Vivo has silently announced the Vivo V23e handset in Vietnam. It is the first V23 series to go official. Reports have revealed that the lineup includes other models such as Vivo V23e 5G, Vivo V23, and Vivo V23 Pro+. As the moniker suggests, the V23e replaces the V21e that went official earlier this year.

The Vivo V23e measures 160.87 x 74.28 x 7.36mm / 7.41mm and weighs 172 grams. The glass-bodied phone is fitted with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display that is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The FHD+ display supports only a 60Hz refresh rate.

The MediaTek Helio G96 chip is driven by the Vivo V23e. The device ships with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It has a 4,050mAh battery to keep the lights on. The handset supports 44W fast charging through USB-C. The Android 11 along with FunTouch OS 12 comes preloaded on the V23e. For additional storage, the device has a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Vivo V23e’s display notch houses autofocus enabled 50-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device features a triple camera unit, which includes a 64-megapixel main snapper, a 115-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. The device offers usual connectivity features such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS. It lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo V23e comes in two colors like Moonlight Shadow and Melody Dawn. It is priced at VND 8,490,000 (~$375). The device is also expected to release in other Asian markets.
