China’s BOE Display is renowned worldwide for the supply of LCD panels for phone manufacturers. The company used to rank behind LG in this aspect of LCD panel shipments but last year, it beat LG to emerge as the world’s largest LCD manufacturer. That is most likely because LG has shifted its focus to OLED display panels. BOEBOE is also making inroads into the AMOLED market. The company first showed off its flexible AMOLED panels in 2017. Since then, it had commenced mass production. The latest report by the company on its investors’ platform shows that overall flexible AMOLED shipments continued to increase. The company disclosed it shipped an estimated 40 million units in the first three quarters of 2021, that is Q1, Q2, and Q3. This result shows the company has continued to maintain substantial year-on-year growth.

At the same time, BOE also disclosed that it has supplied many of the top electronics companies with flexible AMOLED panels. It is also looking to expand its brand customers to more product series. In the future, with the increase in customer demand and the smooth climb of the flexible AMOLED production line, product shipments are expected to continue to grow rapidly.
