The club is yet to officially announce a roster for its League of Legends team. The expected announcement of the team members will come sooner or later.
The organization mentioned the reason for entering League of Legends as its next E-sports venture stating, “On entering this tournament, FC Barcelona is strengthening their commitment to esports, a strategic sector for the Club, which they first entered two years ago with the aim of developing a strong profile.”

League of Legends is a strategy game in which two teams of five players face off and compete to complete objectives, and finally the two best teams compete in the Superliga. The current champion is Vodafone Giants, who beat UCAM Esports Club in the final on 12th August in Barcelona.
FC Barcelona is not a novice in esports as it has teams competing at Rocket league, a game that combines cars and football, PES 2020, using Konami’s famous soccer simulation and Hearthstone. With this new team, the club aims to diversify its presence, with the intention of taking the Barca brand to countries like China and the United States of America.
