OnePlus has officially announced the PAC-MAN Edition of the OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone and the device is now available for purchase in India. The phone, which comes packed with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for the price of ₹37,999 is now available for purchase thorugh Amazon.
There’s also a ₹2,000 discount coupon available for a limited time. Further, customers of the select banks can available an additional discount of ₹1,000 or ₹1,200 through EMI options. The company is also bundling 3 months of Spotify Premium for free on purchase of the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN.
The back panel of this new smartphone model features the game’s iconic PAC-DOTS and PAC-MAN himself. The outer film tops the inner film which features a glossy phosphorescent design that glows in the dark to reveal a neon maze inspired by PAC-MAN.
The company is also bundling a DIY PAC-MAN phone holder with a unique ‘gamery’ design. The phone’s software — OxygenOS has also gotten a retro makeover with the dynamic Pac-Man-themed wallpaper and pixelated-looking icons inspired by 8-bit games.
It comes with a custom camera filter, custom animations, and the game PAC-MAN 256 pre-installed. There are several other PAC-MAN-related contents such as ringtones, photo stickers, and more that need to be unlocked by completing challenges on the device.
Apart from the design changes, the phone’s specifications remain the same as the original OnePlus Nord 2. It features a 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, Dimensity 1200 processor, 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging, and a 50MP primary camera for the triple-camera setup on the phone’s back.
