Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its latest flagship handset, the Xiaomi 12. The device is set to launch next month, but prior to its release, a tipster has revealed some details regarding the upcoming smartphone.
According to known Weibo tipster DigitalChatStation (Via SparrowNews), the Chinese tech giant’s next gen premium smartphone will feature a 50 megapixel primary camera that features OIS support along with an ultra wide angle lens and a macro sensor. Furthermore, he added that the curved display on either sides will be the standard on the entire Xiaomi 12 series. The tipster also claimed that the 12 series will arrive with a symmetrical stereo speaker design as well.
In other words, we can expect a dual stereo speaker system. The last generation’s Xiaomi 11 series also featured a dual speaker design, although, the stereo speakers had an asymmetrical design. Unfortunately, this is all the information shares on the Chinese microblogging website. But since it is still an unconfirmed report, we suggest you take it with a pinch of salt for now.
As per previous reports, the company is working on a Xiaomi 12X model as well along with the base variant. While the 12X is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, the flagship model is set to be one of the first smartphones to feature the next gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform.
