Xiaomi is expected to announce the Xiaomi 12 series of smartphones by the end of December. The Chinese manufacturer is expected to unleash three models such as Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro. While all three models have been spotted in the database of the TENAA certification site, the Pro model has now bagged approval from the 3C authority.
Three new Xiaomi phones with model numbers 2201123C, 2201122C, and 2112123AC have appeared at TENAA. According to WHY LAB, these model numbers belong to the Xiaomi 12, XIaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X. The TENAA listings of the Xiaomi 12 trio are yet to be populated with their specifications.
The Xiaomi 12X is expected to feature the Snapdragon 870, whereas the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are likely to be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X were spotted with a 67W fast charger in the recent past. Now, the Xiaomi 12 Pro has appeared at the 3C certification site. It reveals that the device may arrive with support for 120W fast charging.

The Xiaomi 12 series also includes few other phones such as the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which is expected to debut in Q1 2022. Like the Mi 11 Ultra, its successor is likely to arrive as an ultimate flagship phone.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite and 12 Lite Zoom are expected to debut by March 2022. These phones may come with identical specs such as a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ curved edge display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 778G / 780G chip, MIUI 13 based Android 12, and a 64-megapixel triple camera unit. The 12 Lite’s camera setup may include an ultrawide lens and a macro camera, whereas the Zoom edition is expected to feature a telephoto snapper instead of the macro lens. The design of these phones is likely to be similar to the Xiaomi Civi. While the Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to release in global and Indian markets, the 12 Lite Zoom could be a China-exclusive model.
