Motorola smartphones come running the brand’s own My UX skin which offers a near-stock version of the Android operating system. Now, the company is set to update its smartphones with the new version of the software — Android 12.

The Lenovo-owned company has revealed the list of smartphones that will be upgraded to the Android 12 operating system. Further, the company has also revealed details about what we should expect from the new version.

Motorola has confirmed that the company will start rolling out the latest Android 12 version update for its smartphones from February 2022. Here is the list of devices that will be getting the new version update.

The company has revealed that the new update with Android 12 will bring the Material You system for personalizing the user interface. There will be conversation widgets that put the contacts you frequently converse with at the center of the home screen.

It will also bring privacy controls with indicators for when an app is using a mic or camera and more granular location controls. There will be new visibility features like the ability to zoom in on a part of the display without losing sight of the rest, extra dimness for night-time scrolling, among others.
