Xiaomi 12 series flagship smartphones are all set to go official in the Chinese market next week on 28th December. Ahead of the launch, the company has been sharing some key details about the phones through official teasers.
In the latest development, Lei Jun, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Xiaomi has revealed details about the display panel used in the top-end device of the upcoming smartphone lineup, the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
It has been revealed that the Xiaomi 12 Pro is the first smartphone to feature a second-generation low-power 2K screen. Further, it is also touted to be the best screen on a Xiaomi smartphone so far. Recently, it was revealed that the smartphone has received A+ ratings from DisplayMate and has set 15 new records.
The display is said to have four power-saving hardcore technologies, including new E5 light-emitting materials, second-generation LTPO materials, Mirco-Lens microprism technology, and intelligent dynamic refresh rate technology.
If the recent report is to be believed, then the display panel for the Xiaomi 12 Pro is supplied by Samsung while the Xiaomi 12 and 12X phones will feature a 6.28-inch Full HD+ screen sourced from TCL CSOT.
The Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro smartphones getting launched next week in China are confirmed to come powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. We expect to know more details about the phones in the coming days through official teasers.
