The Watch GS 3 was first spotted online around August last year and has been a regular in leak land since then. The smartwatch ditches the rugged look for a sleek one. It is manufactured using 316L low-carbon stainless steel with a 3D curved glass and a graduated bezel. The watch weighs 44g and has a thickness of 10.5mm.Honor Watch GS 3

The watch packs a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a 326 ppi pixel density. Internally, the watch crams a 451 mAh battery that is said to bring up to 14 days of battery life on typical usage but when the GPS is turned on, it can last for 30 hours. The watch comes with fast charging as a 5-minute charge can serve a day’s usage.

Another impressive feature inboard is the 8-channel PPG module that it comes with. The module brings up to 97% minimum accuracy for heart rate tracking. You also get a dual-frequency positioning supporting the five major satellite constellations of GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and NAVIC. It runs on LiteOS and is powered by an Apollo4 chipset with 4GB of storage onboard. There is support for AliPay in China, thanks to the NFC chip on board and some pre-installed apps. The Honor Watch GS 3 will be available in silver, gold, and a black variant dubbed Racing Pioneer. The silver and gold variant comes with Nappa leather straps while the Racing Pioneer edition has a durable rubber strap. The sliver and gold variants with Nappa leather straps will sell for 1,500 yuan (~$235) while the Racing Pioneer Edition comes in at 1,300 yuan (~$205).
