HONOR has officially launched the HONOR Magic3 series as scheduled. These new devices are the company’s first flagship smartphone lineup after being sold off by HUAWEI. The series includes a total of three models, namely HONOR Magic3, HONOR Magic3 Pro, and HONOR Magic3 Pro+ (aka HONOR Magic 3 Zhen Edition). Let’s take a look at what these HUAWEI Mate40 series lookalike phones have to offer.

HONOR Magic3, Magic3 Pro, Magic3 Pro+ Specifications and Features

All three smartphones sport a 6.76-inch 10-bit 89°curved OLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1344 pixels (FHD+), 1.07 billion colors, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 120Hz refresh rate, and a pill-shaped cutout for front-facing cameras.

Their design is similar to that of the HUAWEI Mate40 series with a circular camera ring. In fact, the HONOR Magic3 Pro+ reminds us off PORSCHE DESIGN HUAWEI Mate40 RS.

The vanilla model is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Whereas, the two Pro models feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset and it is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage.

The standard HONOR Magic3 comes in four colors (Golden Hour, Blue Hour, Black, White), while the Pro comes in three (Golden Hour, Black, White), and the Pro Plus in only two color options (White, Black). The colors with ‘Hour’ in their names feature a leather finish, whereas the Pro Plus has a ceramic back and the remaining have a glass back.

These phones run Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11. In global markets, they will ship with GMS (Google Mobile Services). Hence, buyers need not worry about the availability of apps and services.
