Moto G71 5G is the latest Motorola phone to launch in India. Last month, the company unveiled the Moto G51 5G as India’s first phone with Snapdragon 480 Plus. Now, the G71 has arrived as the country’s first Snapdragon 696 powered handset. It offers key features like 13 5G bands, a near-stock version of Android, an AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel triple camera setup, and a large battery.

The Moto G71 5G has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that produces a Full HD+ resolution, offers up to 700 nits of brightness, and DCI-P3 color gamut. However, it supports only a regular refresh rate of 60Hz. The handset runs on a near-stock version of Android 11, and it comes with a business-grade security feature called ThinkShield for Mobile. The My UX UI onboard brings support for simple customizations on the device.

The Snapdragon 695 chip fuels the Moto G71 5G. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. For additional storage, it features a dedicated microSD card slot. The device is packed with a 5,000mAh battery, which thankfully supports 33W TurboCharge technology.

The Moto G71 5G’s rear shell has a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper with a 118-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The ultrawide lens can double as a depth sensor. For selfies, the device is equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera.  The G71 5G comes with an IP52 water-repellant construction and it offers other features like dual SIM with 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Moto G71 5G price in India

The Moto G71 5G is priced at Rs 18,999 (~$256). Its first sale is scheduled to begin at 12 PM (local time) on Jan. 19. The handset can be purchased through Flipkart in colors like Neptune Green and Arctic Blue.
