In mid-December, OPPO started the ColorOS 12 beta program for the OPPO A95 5G. A month later this phone has finally started receiving the stable update. With this, the company has finished the Android 12 stable rollout for the month of January 2022.
The OPPO A95 5G is a China-exclusive smartphone. It is almost identical to the OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G, which is also known as OPPO Reno5 Z 5G.
The latter two devices have already bagged ColorOS 12 stable update. Hence, the Chinese model has also begun to receive the update following the schedule.
According to the official announcement post on OPPO Community, the latest system update for OPPO A95 5G arrives with firmware version C.14. Users of the phone can head over to Settings > Software Update to check whether their unit has received the OTA update. It should be available for everyone in the coming days.
OPPO hasn’t revealed which handsets will be receiving the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 stable update in February. However, the company has released a list of phones that will get the beta treatment in Q1 2022.
We will be posting new stories whenever OPPO releases new major software builds for its handsets. So stay tuned.
