The K50 series is rumored to debut with four devices- the Redmi K50, the K50 Pro, the K50 Pro+ and the K50 Gaming. They are powered by Dimensity 8000, Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 9000, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, respectively.

Redmi GM Lu Weibing took to Weibo to tease the upcoming press conference at which the company is poised to launch its next flagship line of devices. Under his blogpost, a Weibo user asked when the company will release the Dimensity 9000 variant of the smartphone to which Lu Weibing replied that it will be released “A little later than Snapdragon 8.” A recent leak has revealed that the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be coming with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset while the Redmi K50 Pro+ will feature the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.

So it appears that the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will indeed debut before the Redmi K50 Pro+. And as per a previous leak, the device might even be the first phone to be released in the K50 lineup.
