The T-series will be replacing the existing Y-lineup in the country. It will include performance-driven phones, which will be sold online. Vivo has a strong presence in the official market in India. With the T-lineup, the company aims to rival the likes of Xiaomi and other brands that have dominated the online market. Vivo’s X-series will continue to offer flagship devices, whereas its V-lineup will include mid-range models.

The report also mentions that the Vivo T1 will be priced under Rs 20,000 (~$268). The Realme 9 Pro 5G debuting later this month in India will be equipped with the Snapdragon 695 SoC. This device is likely to be priced at Rs 17,999 (~$242). Xiaomi is expected to launch the Snapdragon 695 powered Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G in India later this month or in March. Hence, it appears that the Vivo T1 will be in fierce competition from Realme 9 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

The Vivo T1’s landing pages are now live on Vivo India’s website and Flipkart. These pages will be confirming some of the key specs of the phone in the next few days before the launch. The Vivo T1 will be launching on Feb. 9 in the country.
