REDMAGIC is gearing for the launch of its REDMAGIC 7 smartphone series. The launch is next week and ahead of its debut, the company has been actively teasing the highlights of the phone. Today, REDMAGIC has revealed the independent gaming chip that will power the smartphone.
REDMAGIC took it to Weibo revealing the phone’s gaming chip. By now, we know that the REDMAGIC 7 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
As per the company, this chipset will be assisted by the company’s built-in Red Core (translated text) game chip. It is expected to assist in offering a better gaming experience and enhancements to sound, light, vibration, and touch.
The gaming smartphone was previously said to have a VC liquid-cooled plate with an area of up to 4124mm². It will have support for 135W fast charging technology and have a 4,500mAh battery.
It will come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device will boot on Android 12 OS and have RedMagic UI on the top.
Apart from the raw hardware, the REDMAGIC 7 will come with a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a Full-HD+ resolution. The screen will have a 165Hz refresh rate and a higher touch sampling rate. The device will feature a 64MP triple-rear camera system and a single selfie camera.
