A couple of Huawei phones with model numbers NOH-AN50 and ABR-AL60 just passed 3C certification and both are said to be “derivatives” of the Huawei P50 and the Mate 40 and support 5G.
The information comes from blogger “Chrysanthemum Pictures Fans” on Weibo who also posted screenshots of the 3C certification. They show that both devices will support up to 66W fast charging.
Huawei’s first-quarter product conference is scheduled for late March and will announce a number of new products including tablets.
The company recently launched its first foldable clamshell phone in the form of the P50 Pocket. Earlier this month, the phone and its non-foldable sibling called the Huawei P50 Pro went up for grabs in the global market, starting at €1,199 ($1,371).
The Huawei Mate 40 was launched back in October 2020 along with its Pro variant and came with near top of the line specs, with the highlight being its triple camera setup that was developed jointly with Leica.
Xiaomi has also been leaked to launch a derivative model of its flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro that was launched in December last year, so we could be seeing a pattern here.
