Infinix ZERO 5G was launched last week in the Indian market with impressive specs like Dimensity 900 5G chipset and a triple camera system. But, the device was launched with the Android 11 OS out of the box, which is a bit old. Today, Infinix India’s CEO Anish Kapoor has revealed that the ZERO 5G will soon get the new Android 12 OS.

The announcement comes after several users asked for the software update timeline of the ZERO 5G. Taking this up, Anish Kapoor took to Twitter that the Infinix ZERO 5G will get the Android 12 software upgrade in August this year. Although it will be a long time till we see the phone getting updated, it will still be great to have it.

As for now, the Realme 9 Pro is probably the only device that comes with the latest Android 12 out of the box in this segment. Even the Redmi’s new Note 11 and 11S phones are running on the Android 11 OS.
