The iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro are up for pre-order on Amazon at the following price tags in India in Alpha/Dark Cruise and Legend (BMW M Motorsport Edition) color options.

The iQOO 9 released in India is a new product altogether. On the other hand, the iQOO 9 Pro is the same as the one sold in China

The former is powered by a Snapdragon 888+ chipset, while the latter houses the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Either way, both come with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a liquid cooling system, and an intelligent display chip for MEMC as well as SDR to HDR conversion.

The iQOO 9 sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+ and up to 120Hz refresh rate as well as 300Hz touch sampling rate. Whereas, the iQOO 9 Pro flaunts a larger 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels (QHD+) and LTPO 2.0 technology. The screen’s refresh rate can go as low as 1Hz and as high as 120Hz. It also has support for up to 300Hz touch sampling rate.

Both phones have the same 16MP selfie camera, however, their triple rear camera systems are different. The one on the non-Pro consists of a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor with gimbal OIS, a 13MP ultrawide-cum-macro snapper, and a 13MP 2x telephoto shooter. While the Pro’s camera setup comprises a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 primary sensor with gimbal OIS, a 50MP 150° ultra-wide unit, and a 16MP 2.5x telephoto lens.

The handsets run Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 and support 120W fast charging, in addition to 50W wireless charging on the Pro. They come with dual SIM card slots, 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, USB Type-C, dual stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. But the sensor on the Pro is ultrasonic as opposed to optical on the non-pro.

Last but not least, the iQOO 9 is backed by a 4,350mAh battery, whereas the iQOO 9 Pro gets its juice from a larger 4,700mAh battery.
