After launching the POCO M4 Pro 5G in India on February 22, POCO is all set to launch its 4G variant this month. POCO devices are most often rebrands of already-launched Redmi devices and the M4 Pro 4G is no exception. The phone appears to be based on the same chassis as the Indian Redmi Note 11S but has a less pixel-dense camera.

While a Google Play Console listing had revealed a few of the key specifications of the device a couple of days back already, tipster Yogesh Brar has now leaked a few more details.

First things first, the POCO M4 Pro 4G comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The POCO M4 Pro 5G came with an LCD panel so it’s actually an improvement this time.

Under the hood, you get the 12nm MediaTek Helio G96 CPU that will be paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset is supported by 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS2.2 storage

For photography, you get a triple camera setup at the back, comprised of a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. The front camera will be housed within a center-aligned hole punch and will have a 16MP resolution. No info yet on the sensors though.

The POCO M4 Pro 4G will be booting into MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box, both of which aren’t the latest anymore.

The device’s battery will be sized 5,000mAh and will support 33W fast charging.
