OPPO’s first tablet called OPPO Pad has been officially confirmed to launch on February 24th in China. While the product has already been revealed to come in Black and Purple colors, the company today announced that it has teamed up with artist James Jean to launch a limited “artist edition” of the OPPO Pad.
The last time this collaboration was set up was with the OPPO Reno4 Pro, which got the device a silver-colored “Artist Limited Edition” with some special engravings at the rear. Its accessories comprising earphones, case, and charger were custom-made too, as was the box.
While OPPO is yet to confirm the design of the limited edition OPPO Pad, a similar treatment can be expected in this case as well.
James Jean is a well-known Taiwanese-American artist known for his cover art for Marvel Comics and DC Comics. He even painted posters for movies like Mother!, The Shape of Water, and Blade Runner 2049.
The OPPO Pad will be equipped with an 11-inch 120Hz display with a resolution of 2560*1600. Its battery will be sized 8360mAh with support for 33W fast charging. The processor will be a Snapdragon 870 which will be supported by 6GB of RAM. The tablet measures 252*165*6.5mm and comes with OPPO Pencil stylus support.
