Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S22 series flagship smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event last month and now the company is gearing up to launch new A-series smartphones later this month.

The South Korean technology giant has now started sending out media invites for its second major launch event of the year. The event will take place on 17th March at 10:00 AM ET and will be live-streamed.

Samsung Galaxy A-Series Launch Event March 2022

The event invitation from the brand clearly states that it will be focused on introducing the company’s mid-range Galaxy A-series smartphones but Samsung has not confirmed which devices will get launched at this event.

Reports about the event happening in the second half of this month were making rounds and Evan Blass recently shared leaked images related to this event. If the reports are to be believed, then Samsung could launch three devices — Galaxy A33, A53, and A73.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 is expected to be an updated version of the Galaxy A32 that was launched in February last year while the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 will be the successor of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones launched in March 2021.

Based on the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A73 is expected to have a 6.7-inch display and pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset while the Galaxy A53 could have a 6.5-inch display and be powered by the brand’s own Exynos 1200 SoC. To know for sure, we will have to wait for the official launch event in a few days.
