In January this year, accessories manufacturer Realme Techlife unveiled the DIZO Watch R alongside the DIZO Buds Z Pro. The smartwatch was immediately listed on Flipkart and reportedly raked in a staggering 10,000 units in sales in just five minutes. The joy was soon short as the watch was discontinued after early buyers raised complaints related to the software. The company has now pushed a new firmware update that fixes the vibration and battery drain issues. Consequently, the DIZO Watch R is now scheduled to go on sale once again from March 16, 2022. The company will be making available both the Black and Silver color variants. The wearables which will be sold exclusively on Flipkart will also receive a slight price cut and will retail for Rs. 3,599 (~$47) instead of the original Rs. 3,999 (~$52) price tag.

To refresh your memory, the DIZO Watch R features a 1.3-inch circular AMOLED screen with 550 nits brightness and a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. It also utilizes a 2.5D curved glass screen and a metal frame coupled with a slim body that is just 9.9mm. Furthermore, the watch features support for over 110 sports modes while also bringing features such as a 5ATM waterproof build, music and camera controls,anti-fingerprint coating, and Bluetooth 5.0. The watch packs a 280mAh battery which is said to deliver up to 12 days of battery life.

You also get other health and fitness-centered features such as heart rate sensor, blood oxygen measurement, running distance and route tracking via GPS,
sleep detection, steps counting, idle alert, activity records, mensural cycle tracker, drink reminder, and breath training.
