realme is gearing up to launch the successor to last year’s realme GT NEO 2 in its home market. Dubbed realme GT NEO 3, the device has been doing rounds for a while now and most of its specifications have already been leaked. Add to that its launch date too, which was revealed today by the company.

According to realme’s Weibo handle, the realme GT NEO 3 will be launched on March 22nd in China. The same post also shows the phone in an extremely attractive blue color with a dual-stripe design. This, realme says, has been inspired by Le Mans race cars and represents the “totem of performance and speed.” The realme GT series has always been performance-oriented, so it figures.

The two stripes pass through a rectangular camera module, which houses three lenses. According to leaked specifications, these three lenses are a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front side, the device will feature a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

This selfie camera will be positioned atop a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also feature a fingerprint scanner underneath.

Under the hood, the realme GT NEO 3 is expected to pack the extremely-capable MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, which was recently found to achieve higher benchmark scores than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
