The Redmi K50 Pro will come with Xiaomi’s self-developed imaging brain chip that integrates software and hardware capabilities to boost image processing speeds. Dubbed Imagiq 790, the image processor will boost clicks through the primary lens by 30%, ultra-wide by 31%, and through the 2x zoom lens by 58%.
Earlier, it was officially announced that the Redmi K50 Dimensity 9000 version is equipped with a 100MP ultra-clear main camera with support for OIS (optical image stabilization). OIS helps reduce shakiness when capturing both photos and videos significantly.
In addition, Lu Weibing also said that users purchasing the Redmi K50 Dimensity 9000 model can choose up to 512GB of internal storage.
The Redmi K50 flagship series has been officially announced to launch on March 17. It comprises three models, equipped with Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8100, and Dimensity 9000 chips. There’s also the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but it was already released last month.
The Redmi K50 Dimensity 9000 uses a 2K straight screen by Samsung, which has received DisplayMate A+ certification. It has 526ppi density, supports DC dimming & ambient color temperature, and comes with Gorilla Victus protection.
The device is also equipped with Dolby Atmos-supporting stereo speakers, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, infrared remote control, and an X-axis haptics motor. It is also the first in the industry to support Bluetooth 5.3.
