Earlier this week, Huawei held its spring conference 2022 event in China. Here, a company official revealed the brand’s new innovations in smart home technology. Its latest Whole House Smart Host that offers smart controls to help turn your house into a true smart home.
During the announcement, the Chinese tech giant’s executive stated that a typical apartment is 80 square meters with 2 bedrooms and a living room. Thus, the starting price for the whole smart home suite will start from 39,999 Yuan (roughly 6,300 US Dollars). At the moment, prospective buyers can go to the official website to reserve an offline store experience, which the company offers from over 64 stores across 43 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Changsha.
As per the official announcement, the Whole House Smart Host is a part of the brand’s “1+2+N” solution and brings various upgrades over the previous generation. According to Huawei, the host is a “future version of the brain.” It is a system that connects across platforms and intelligently manages them. This is made possible through its intelligent host SE that has 128 PLC nodes, supports high speed connection, and is both stable and reliable as well.
The 9.2 mm ultra thin smart panel integrates six major controls, like scene, lighting, shading, fresh air, floor heating, and air conditioning. These centralized control and natural interaction brings another level of innovation in terms of spatial interaction. The company added that the Whole House Smart Host has over 1,900 partners, more than 4,500 smart products and is easily accessible and easy to own as well.
