Earlier this month, OnePlus released the OxygenOS 12 update – C.46 for the OnePlus 9 and the 9 Pro which brought along a number of bug fixes like the abnormal display issue with the AOD, the blurred screen bug in certain scenarios, and the problems with registering to a 5G network. This update however did not make it to North American users of the device.

The company has now released another update for the OnePlus 9 series devices which this time around includes all regions. The new firmware update coming to the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro comes with version number C.47. The update bumps up the security patch levels of the devices to March 2022 and comes with several bug fixes and system optimization.

OnePlus also informs that the SafetyNet bug which was causing the “Device not certified” error for some OnePlus 9 users while using Google Pay has been addressed. If users are still facing the issue after installing the new update, the company has advised clearing the Google Play Store’s cache and rebooting the device.

Additionally, XDA developers have reported that the OnePlus 9RT has been updated to firmware version A.07 which brings along the March 2022 security patch and improves battery life along with fixing a bug related to the phone speaker.
