Authoritative Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo has hinted that this year’s lineup of iPhones will miss out on the under-display sensor and periscope camera. Kuo’s latest investor notes provided these details for the analyst who has had some bull’s-eye predictions in the past.
The analyst also feels that Apple may be unable to meet up with the periscope camera technology before 2023. The fingerprint technology will come likely in 2025 according to the researcher.
The iPhone 14 lineup will likely be launched towards the end of the third quarter of this year but there are already some details flying around about the lineup. The iPhone 14 will come with two punch holes, a more powerful main camera sensor, a thicker body and it will be powered by the A16 Bionic chip (especially for the flagship models in the lineup). The iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to have ProMotion displays with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Little can however be said about the rumors at this time. Apple remains mum on the iPhone 14 for now.
