Last month, iQOO launched the iQOO 9 series flagship devices in India. The iQOO 9 smartphone was made available in two colors at launch, namely Legend (Grey) and Alpha (Black). Now, iQOO has launched a third color option for the device called Phoenix.

iQOO has launched the vanilla 9 model in a new Phoenix Orange color option. The company states that the new Phonix color variant is produced by a geometric craft on the Frosted AG Glass. What makes this new variant special is its capability to change color when exposed to sunlight or any artificial UV rays. In the absence of UV rays, the back of the phone remains white, but when exposed to sunlight, it’ll turn orange.
