Motorola today announced that the Moto Edge S30 is now receiving the MYUI/My UX 3.0 update based on Android 12.
The complete official changelog for the update has been given below (via IT Home).
- Brand new Android 12 interface, smoother system experience
- Ready for the latest experience, support as PC camera, fast file transfer, mobile network sharing
- New desktop drop-down control center, more choices
- The application is multi-open and fully covered, and some applications may have adaptation problems, which are gradually optimized
My UX is very much like the software that the Google Pixels run but there are a few tweaks here and there. Unlike skins like One UI and MIUI, the skin strictly adheres to Material You guidelines so you’ll be getting a very pure Android experience, quite like how Google intends it to be.
It is important to note here that after installing this update, users will not be able to downgrade to previous software versions. The update instructions show that the installation process can take up to 30 minutes, although the phone can be used normally for much of the duration. After the installation is complete, you will be prompted to restart, and the system upgrade will be completed thereafter.
The Motorola Edge S30 was released in December last year and is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 Plus processor. It uses a 6.8-inch LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The battery is sized 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
