Anker has released an 8-in-1 USB-C Hub that can also work as a tablet stand with pass-through charging capability. The Anker 551 Tablet Stand and 8-in-1 USB-C Hub comes with many ports including a 4K HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, AUX, and memory card slots. The Anker 551 tablet stand and USB-C hub are compatible with several devices including the iPad Pro (3rd to 5th gen), iPad Air 4, and other models.
The Anker 551 has pass-through charging available via the tablet stand while the base is adjustable to different height and orientation options. The device offers between 45W and 100W charging power, while the USB-C power delivery input port enables faster pass-through charging of a connected device. Operating systems that are supported on the device are macOS, iPadOS, Windows 10, and Windows 11.
The angular configuration of the device is adjustable – you can move the base up to 70 degrees and the stand up to 180 degrees. Transfer of files is super-fast, up to 5 Gbps, or through a memory card via the SD/microSD slot at 104 Mbps. The HDMI port allows you to connect to another display and deliver 4K video content with a 60Hz refresh rate.
The Anker 551 tablet stand is made with aluminum alloy to deliver exceptional sturdiness for the tablet secured in it. The tablet stand is also durable, with the surface coated with non-slip silicone material. The Anker 551 USB-C Hub is currently selling for $99.99 via Amazon and Anker’s website. The package includes a USB-C to USB-A cable and an 18-month warranty on the device.
