Just when we thought the era of phablet-sized smartphones was gone, Chinese tech giant Vivo launched the Vivo X Note alongside the Vivo Pad and X Fold. The X Note packs a 7-inch display which is a rare thing for a smartphone these days. However, Vivo has tuned things up for the X Note with the unveiling of the Vivo X Note Aerospace edition in China.
The Vivo X Note Aerospace edition is the product of a collaboration between the BBK subsidiary and the China Aerospace agency. basically, the phone has no marked difference from the original X Note but it comes with a customized retail box having a unique gift inside. The X Note China Aerospace edition ships with a special pendant that is said to have a piece of meteorite fragment from the moon. This extraordinary “stone” is cut from the rough meteorite numbered NWA11444 and is sealed in a tempered glass pendant.
The phone packs an LTPO 3.0 E5 AMOLED panel with a QHD+ resolution of 3080 x 1440 pixels and a 21:10 aspect ratio. The display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1500 nits peak brightness. The screen also has DisplayMate A+ certification and houses a 3D ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo X Note Aerospace edition is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset and will be available in 12GB + 256GB memory combination. The special edition model comes in blue colour and will be sold via flash sale from April 15 to April 22 from 10 AM on Vivo’s flagship store on Jingdong (JD.com).
