Xiaomi’s sub-brand is working on the Redmi Note 12 series of smartphones. Like its predecessor models, the lineup may include multiple devices. Two of them have been reportedly spotted in the database of the TENAA certification platform. The listings have revealed details like dimensions, display size, and battery capacity.

The screenshots of the TENAA listings shared by the tipster Digital Chat Station show model numbers such as 22041216C and 22041216UC. Both devices were seen at the CMIIT certification site earlier this month. The TENAA listings show that both devices have the same dimensions and display size.

The 22041216C and 22041216UC devices have a 6.6-inch display, which probably supports a Full HD+ resolution. The 22041216C variant has a 4,980mAh (rated value) battery, whereas the 22041216UC model has a 4,300mAh (rated value) battery. Both are preinstalled with the Android 12 OS, and they measure 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.8mm.

The 22041216UC device, which packs a larger battery, is likely to arrive with better specs than the 22041216C variant. It is expected to arrive with faster-charging capabilities. Last year, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G carried support for 120W fast charging. Hence, it is likely the 22041216UC model may come with a similar charging solution.

The rumor mill has yet to reveal concrete information on the specs of the Note 12 lineup. However, it is speculated that it will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity series of chipsets. Hence, it is likely that the lineup may include the Dimensity 1300 or Dimensity 8000 SoC.

The TENAA listings for the 22041216C and 22041216UC are expected to be populated with the remaining specifications in the coming days. The Note 12 lineup is expected to debut as early as next month (May) in China.
