Xiaomi launched its next-generation tablets in the form of the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro. A few months ago, the company launched the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro and now the company is launching a similar memory configuration for the standard model.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is now available in a new memory configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The company has confirmed the launch and it’s now available for purchase in the Chinese market for the price of 2,499 yuan, which is about $382.

As for the specifications, the tablet features a large 11-inch LCD display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, a PPI of up to 275, and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In the camera department, there’s a 13-megapixel camera sensor with an LED flash at the back and on the front side, the device has an 8-megapixel camera which also supports the Face unlock feature.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 runs the Android operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own MIUI For Pad custom user interface on top. brings features such as custom input methods, split screens, small windows, parallel windows, and other functions. The device is powered by an 8,720mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
