OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus Ace smartphone in the Chinese market which is now available for purchase. The OPPO-backed company is now all set to launch the device in the Indian market under a different name — OnePlus 10R.
The OnePlus 10R launch event for the Indian market is scheduled to take place tomorrow, i.e. on 28th April and the event will be live-streamed by the company on its YouTube channel from 7:00 PM IST.

Given that the OnePlus 10R is the rebranded OnePlus Ace smartphone, we already know the phone’s specifications and features. It has a plastic frame and the phone is expected to come in three color options — Arctic Glow, Green, and Sierra Black.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch flexible OLED display panel with a screen resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a 394 PPI pixel density. It offers up to a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 93.4% screen-to-body ratio, and 950 nits local peak brightness.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, which is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
In the camera department, the phone will have a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP Galaxycore GC02M1 macro snapper. On the front side, there will be a 16MP Samsung ISOCELL S5K3P9 snapper housing inside a punch-hole cutout for taking selfies and video calling.
The phone runs the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own OxygenOS 12.1 on top. It will be available in two different models for the battery — one packs a 5,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging and another with a 4,5000mAh battery that offers 150W fast charging.
