Along with the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G smartphone, the Vivo-backed smartphone manufacturer also launched the 4G-only iQOO Z6 in the Indian market.

The phone is similar to the Z6 Pro 5G in terms of design but differs a lot in terms of specifications. The company is touting this new budget smartphone as India’s fastest charging phone with an AMOLED display in this price range.

It comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ screen resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The phone comes in three memory configurations to choose from — 4GB RAM, 6GB RAM, and 8GB RAM, along with support for virtual RAM for up to 4GB. All three models come with 128GB of internal storage.

In the camera department, the smartphone features a triple-camera setup on the back which consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor. On the front side, there’s a 16-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

It is running the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own FunTouch OS 12 on top. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and comes with support for 44W fast charging.

The iQOO Z6 smartphone is being offered in two color options in the Indian market — Raven Black and Lumina Blue. The base model with 4GB RAM is priced at ₹14,499 (~$189), the 6GB RAM model costs ₹15,999 (~$209), and the top-end model with 8GB RAM is priced at ₹16,999 (~$222). Both the phones will be available for purchase in India through iQOO’s online store and Amazon.
