A few days ago, along with the Mate Xs 2 foldable smartphone, Huawei launched its latest wearable device in the Chinese market, dubbed Huawei Band 7.
Now, a new report indicates that the Huawei Band 7 will have support for downloading and installing third-party applications on the device. But there’s no information about which apps or how many apps third-party apps can be installed.
The Huawei Band 7 features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display supporting 194 x 368 pixels screen resolution. Thanks to the AMOLED panel, the device offers an Always-On display feature that enables having watch access without consuming much energy.
It comes with multiple sensors like an accelerometer, gyro sensor, and heart rate sensor. It also houses a SpO2 sensor which can help users detect signs of sleep apnea by monitoring their blood-oxygen levels during sleep.
As for the health and fitness-related features, the smart wearable device features 96 sports modes, including swimming, and can track the number of calories the user has burned during their workouts and sports activities.
The device has 5ATM protection meaning it can withstand the wearer diving around 50 meters underwater. Coming to the battery life, the company claims that with a full charge, the battery on the Huawei Band 7 will last up to 14 days.
