China Post has a lineup of smartphones under its Hi Nova brand, and as the naming scheme indicates, the devices in the lineup are rebranded versions of the Huawei smartphones. The company recently expanded its portfolio of devices with the launch of the Hi Nova 9z smartphone.
Now, the Hi Nova 9z is available for purchase in the Chinese market. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model is priced at 1,799 yuan (~$270), while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 1,999 yuan, which is about $299.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with a Full HD+ screen resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels. It offers up to 120Hz high refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, along with an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 94.7 percent.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, the phone has a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front side, the phone has a 16-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling and also comes with an AI beauty 5.1 feature.
The device is powered by a 4,300mAh battery which has support for 66W fast charging. It is claimed by the company that the phone can go up to 60 percent in just 17 minutes of charging, while the full charge takes around 40 minutes.
