Last week, iQOO confirmed the upcoming launch of the iQOO Neo 6 in India. The smartphone debuted last month in China with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. However, the Indian variant will come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC.
Now, an apparent slipup by Amazon India has revealed the launch date of the iQOO Neo 6 in India. According to a MySmartPrice report, a push notification by the Amazon India app has revealed that the iQOO Neo 6 will launch on May 31st in India.
Going by the already confirmed specs of the iQOO Neo 6 Indian variant, it is highly likely that the device will be a rebranded iQOO Neo 6 SE.
iQOO Neo 6 specs (Indian variant – expected)
The iQOO Neo 6 Indian variant will likely come with a 6.62-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a centered punch hole for the front camera.
Under the hood, it is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. It will likely be paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is also confirmed to offer 80W fast charging likely bundled with a 4,700mAh battery. It will come with Android 12 OS and OriginOS Ocean / iQOO UI.
For optics, the smartphone is expected to house a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone will likely have a 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
